    All of the city's capacity restrictions are lifted as of today.  Masks are still required indoors, and the restaurant curfew remains.   The city's indoor mask mandate could be lifted as soon as June 11.

    The Sixers and the Philadelphia Health Department have partnered up to help get fans vaccinated against COVID-19. The Sixers have donated hundreds of 76ers Playoffs T-shirts and autographed items that will be given out during three vaccination clinics at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

     FEMA delivered its last COVID-19 vaccine doses Tuesday at two federally-funded vaccination clinics in Philadelphia.

    While Spotted Lanternflies are a nuisance and even a little scary, they aren’t a major threat to our home landscaping like they are to vineyards. Trapping SLFs in our yards isn’t going to eradicate this pest, but it can reduce a major infestation on our own property. To set expectations, realize that you are unlikely to free a tree from SLFs because more will keep arriving from neighboring properties.

    There’s been a lot of hype about Brood X cicadas in Philadelphia and elsewhere in Pennsylvania, but I haven’t seen one yet. So to find out what the heck is going on with these creatures that only pop up every 17 years, I called Brood X cicada expert Michael Skvarla, head of the Insect Identification Library at Penn State.

     Phillies fans will no longer be required to wear face masks at Citizens Bank Park on Friday. It comes as the city updated its mask guidelines.

    Philadelphia will lift its outdoor mask mandate on Friday, but face masks will remain required indoors until at least June 11.
