City pauses reopening on Friday, June 3

New COVID-19 cases continues to spike in Philly.  Therefore, the City has decided to postpone reopening which was scheduled for Friday, 7/3.  This means:

  • No indoor dining.
  • Gyms and fitness centers to remain closed.
  • No outdoor gathering with excess of 50 people.
  • Teleworking is strongly recommended.

The City will look into reopening on Aug. 1.

A "Modified Reopening" will take place on Friday, 7/3.  Businesses that can reopen are:

  • Museums and libraries
  • Casinos with provisions
  • Outdoor gathers with a max of 50 people.
