Commemorating the 30th Anniversary: AMIA Jewish Community Center Bombing

Join AJC & Latino-Jewish Coalition to remember our brothers & sisters who lost their lives in the bombing of the Asociacion Mutual Israelita Argentina (AMIA) 30 years ago. AJC & the Latino-Jewish Coalition together will honor their memories & hear personal testimony that happened on July 18, 1994 in Buenos Aires. 7 story HQ of AMIA, was destroyed. An investigation concluded in 2007 that Iran was responsible for the planning & carried out by Hezbollah operatives. Daniel Pomerantz, Director of AMIA will speak & a representative of the Consulate Gen of Israel, NY, give personal testimonies, a candle lighting ceremony, & reciting of victims’ names.
