A Celebration of the Earth

A Celebration of the Earth - Sunday, April 21, 11 AM at the Philadelphia Ethical Society 

Adults and children are invited to an Earth Day program at the Ethical Society. 

From 11AM-12noon our program for adults will feature music, reflections on nature, and insights about our summer Camp Linden program for children from low-income neighborhoods.  A fun children's program will also be offered at the Society during this time. 

At noon we will move to Rittenhouse Square for a fun nature group activity. 

At 12:30PM we'll return to the Ethical Society for demonstrations of fun learning activities in the Camp’s curriculum designed to inspire appreciation of the natural world, such as viewing a leaf through a digital microscope, shining a light on a solar-powered flying pig, or using a stick to lift denizens of our worm farm! There will also be an optional lunch inspired by Native American cuisine available for a nominal donation. Please email to reserve your spot: camplinden@phillyethics.org.
