SIDEWALK CLEANING FUND INFORMATION

Several years ago, street trash was a serious problem, especially on days after the City trash collection. CCRA stepped forward and with the financial support of many of your neighbors, raised the necessary funds to be able to contract with the Center City Distrct to provide a force to clean-up on trash days.

This program has made a notable improvement, and demonstrates your and the CCRA's commitement to clean streets. Every year we now solicit separate funds to enable the continued success of this effort. The current costs are about $30,000 each year.

If you are able to donate beyond the requested contribution of $50, you will help ensure a surplus, which goes towards the removal of graffiti of public spaces, such as street lights and mail boxes.

To donate by check, make it payable to Center City Residents' Association or CCRA, note on the check "sidewalk cleaning", and mail it to CCRA at 1616 Walnut Street, Suite 705, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
