E-Cycle Day

  • 21 May 2011
  • 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 22nd and Sansom

Mark your calendars!  May 21, 2011, will be Greening Greenfield’s second annual E-Cycle Day.

Save your unwanted computer equipment for this fun event that not only will give people a great environmentally-sound way to dispose of their closet-filling discarded electronic equipment; it will also help raise funds for

Greenfield School ’s new Secret Garden Outdoor Classroom furniture.

If you know of a company that has computer equipment to recycle, please request that they plan to recycle their equipment through the Greening Greenfield E-Cycle Day.  A $10 donation per piece of equipment is requested from those who bring their electronic items for recycling.  Pick-up of larger quantities of equipment to be recycled can be arranged by the Greening Greenfield Committee.  Contact us at: info@greeninggreenfield.net

Community members and businesses should bring electronic equipment to the school yard on the

Sansom Street side of the school between 9:00 and 3:00 for recycling. The funds that are raised will also help pay for Greenfield ’s environmental education enrichment programs, plus maintenance and replenishment of the new Greening Greenfield School Yard rain gardens which were constructed during the summers of 2009 and 2010.

A wide range of electronic equipment will be accepted for recycling ranging from computers to plotters to televisions.  Here is the list of accepted items:
