Show and Tell for Grownups
Tuesday November 14, 2017 at 3:30 p.m.
MacColl Room, First Presbyterian Church
This session of our triennial program with personal historian and Penn’s Village member and volunteer Marianne Waller is scheduled a week or so before Thanksgiving in case the spirit of the season inspires you.
Bring an object that evokes a memory, or just listen, enjoy wine and cheese, and learn something special about a neighbor. There are no rules. We have heard the stories behind a train collection, sparkly sunglasses that belonged to a beloved grandmother and a souvenir from a journey planned as a surprise by loving children.
Meet in the MacColl Room of the First Presbyterian Church, 201 S. 21st Street, entrance on 21st Street. The building is handicapped accessible. Kindly let us know in advance if this is needed.
This program is free for Penn’s Village members and volunteers. We would appreciate a $5 donation from other guests. Other guests are welcome to attend three programs before joining and/or volunteering.
